Purchasing Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a purchasing specialist with an affinity for technology, ready to take on a new challenge?

We are FRAMOS, a global high-tech product-driven company with over 180 employees. We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to help in optimizing our procurement process, ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly.
 
Reporting to the Procurement Manager and working with a global team of supply chain professionals, you will ensure that all necessary goods, services, and materials are sourced efficiently and on time.

 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• You will assess the company’s needs for goods, services, and materials by collaborating with other departments to understand both current and future needs. 
• You will create and process purchase orders based on the analysis and ensure they align with suppliers' contractual terms.
• You will track the ordering process, monitor delivery dates, and ensure that everything is delivered on time. 
• You will monitor and evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery reliability, service, and pricing, driving continuous improvement and process optimization. 
• You will identify cost-saving opportunities, conduct negotiations, and explore alternative suppliers.
• You will maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet the company’s needs and comply with contract terms.
• You will work closely with departments such as sales, production, quality management, and finance to ensure a smooth supply chain and meet the company’s needs. 

The role is based in Munich, with the possibility to work remotely a few days per week.YOUR PROFILE

• You have several years of experience in a similar role. 
• You are familiar with procurement processes and have a good knowledge of procurement strategies (single or multiple sourcing, global or local sourcing).
• You are fluent in English and German. 
• You have great time management and organizational skills. 
• You have very good communication skills and excel in negotiation.
