Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager and collaborating with a global network of supply chain experts, your role will be pivotal in sourcing essential goods, services, and materials promptly and effectively.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate the organization's requirements for goods, services, and materials by engaging with various departments to grasp both immediate and future demands.
- Develop and manage purchase orders based on thorough analysis, ensuring compliance with supplier agreements.
- Oversee the procurement process, track delivery schedules, and guarantee timely arrivals of all orders.
- Assess and monitor supplier performance regarding quality, reliability, service, and pricing, fostering continuous enhancement and optimization of processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead negotiations, and investigate alternative supplier options.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers, ensuring they fulfill the organization's requirements and adhere to contractual obligations.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as sales, production, quality assurance, and finance to facilitate a seamless supply chain and address the organization's needs.
- Proven experience in a similar role within procurement.
- Strong understanding of procurement methodologies and strategies (single or multiple sourcing, global or local sourcing).
- Fluency in both English and German.
- Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong aptitude for negotiation.
