Joining technology is also a key factor in future vehicle concepts for mixed construction and therefore for the lightweight construction of the body.
For production and maintenance, this means complex processes that must be taken into account through detailed start-up planning, commissioning and a constant increase in system availability.
Joining technology therefore plays a special role in terms of product quality, process stability and availability, particularly during the start-up of new vehicle projects such as the new AMG.EA sports car platform.
As part of the student traineeship, a lot of the information required against this background has to be structured and prepared - often with the requirement to focus on complex issues in a management-oriented manner.
As the transformation to electromobility not only affects the vehicles themselves, but also has a significant impact on production processes, a transformation team has been set up at departmental level in Maintenance. Its aim is to support and promote the transformation process in maintenance through transparent communication and workshops, among other things.

The task includes the following field of activity:
Getting to know body production with a focus on joining technology Familiarization with the topics of digitalization and Industry 4.0 with regard to joining technology Collaboration in process monitoring and process evaluation of production data in the AMG.EA start-up Creation of analysis dashboards for AMG.EA start-up management Creation of presentation and decision templates for managementYou will face these challenges:
Working in a highly agile environment Quick understanding of complex production processes and dependencies Reacting quickly to new requirements and problems during start-up Communicating complex issues in an understandable but accurate way Qualifikationen Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, economics or similar Proficient in written and spoken German and English Confident handling of MS Office Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical way of thinking and strategic, independent way of working Experience with joining technologies and in communicating and conveying complex issues desirableAdditional information:
