What does Mercedes-Benz Cars Production Planning (MBC) do?
Mercedes-Benz Cars Production Planning plans and implements competitive production worldwide. We use robust processes to bring all vehicle projects to the factories worldwide and support them from pre-planning through to series production. The focus here is on future-oriented topics such as digitalization in production, Industry 4.0 and the implementation of a smart factory.
What does body planning do?
Within Production Planning, we are responsible in Body Planning for the global planning and implementation of projects in the press shop, paint shop and body shop. This includes not only our new construction projects, but also series production and the (further) development of technologies and standards. Together in the Center, we define the plant and product standards for our trades and have a lasting influence on new series projects.
To strengthen our body shell planning and our center assistance, we are looking for motivated support who will work with us to define the future of body planning.
Your tasks in detail:
Supporting our center management by preparing and following up on center events and committees Visualization of complex issues and schedules to control our interfaces in our series projects Accompanying the plant construction and production ramp-up of current series in Sindelfingen and Rastatt Independent processing of projects and tasks together with various contacts Technical and economic evaluation of new production technologies, organization and supervision of operational testsWhat we offer:
