As Head of Consolidation at Viessmann Climate Solutions (VCS) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial activities. Your oversight will include adhering to US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), Corporate Policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Your impact
  • Manage closing activities, consolidation tasks, reconciliation processes, and statutory reporting requirements. Oversee third-party activities related to general accounting.
  • Own the Actuals reporting, financial statement analysis, reconciliation reviews, and statutory reporting. Maintain full control environment for SOX reportable entities including quarterly certification requirements.
  • Provide support for the oversight and coordination of control activities across multiple entities in compliance with US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), and Corporate Policies.
  • Ensure all accounting activities are in line with external reporting and statutory compliance matters.
  • Work closely with internal or third-party shared services providers. Communicate and influence Key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leads, and external parties.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve financial and internal control matters. Provide support and coordinate with Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and service providers.
  • Engage in key projects and strategic initiatives while managing complex accounting
Who you are

You are an effective communicator and collaborate across different stakeholders and geographical locations as well as you bring:

  • Engage in key projects and strategic initiatives while managing complex accounting
  • Extensive finance experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence colleagues across the organization
  • Proven stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent German & English, both written and spoken
