Director of Financial Consolidation

As the Director of Financial Consolidation at Viessmann Climate Solutions (VCS), you will be instrumental in ensuring the precision and compliance of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will encompass adherence to US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), Corporate Policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Your impact- Oversee closing activities, consolidation tasks, reconciliation processes, and statutory reporting obligations. Manage third-party activities related to general accounting.
- Take ownership of Actuals reporting, financial statement analysis, reconciliation reviews, and statutory reporting. Maintain a comprehensive control environment for SOX reportable entities, including quarterly certification requirements.
- Support the oversight and coordination of control activities across multiple entities in compliance with US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), and Corporate Policies.
- Ensure all accounting activities align with external reporting and statutory compliance matters.
- Collaborate closely with internal or third-party shared services providers. Communicate and influence Key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leads, and external stakeholders.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve financial and internal control issues. Provide support and coordinate with Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and service providers.
- Engage in key projects and strategic initiatives while managing complex accounting tasks.
You are an effective communicator who collaborates across various stakeholders and geographical locations, and you bring:
- Experience in engaging with key projects and strategic initiatives while managing complex accounting.
- Extensive finance experience, preferably in an international context.
- A strong understanding of US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence colleagues across the organization.
- Proven stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
