As the Director of Financial Consolidation at Viessmann Climate Solutions, you will be instrumental in ensuring the precision and adherence of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will encompass compliance with US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), Corporate Policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Your Contributions- Oversee closing processes, consolidation activities, reconciliation tasks, and statutory reporting obligations. Supervise third-party functions related to general accounting.
- Take ownership of Actuals reporting, financial statement evaluations, reconciliation assessments, and statutory reporting. Maintain a comprehensive control environment for SOX reportable entities, including quarterly certification duties.
- Facilitate the supervision and coordination of control activities across various entities in accordance with US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), and Corporate Policies.
- Guarantee that all accounting functions align with external reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal or external shared services providers. Effectively communicate and influence Key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leaders, and external stakeholders.
- Identify, articulate, and resolve financial and internal control issues. Provide assistance and coordinate with Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and service providers.
- Participate in significant projects and strategic initiatives while managing intricate accounting matters.
You are a proficient communicator who collaborates effectively across diverse stakeholders and geographical regions. You possess:
- Experience in engaging with key projects and strategic initiatives while handling complex accounting.
- A robust background in finance, ideally within an international context.
- A deep understanding of US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence colleagues throughout the organization.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluency in both German and English, in written and spoken forms.
