Director of Financial Consolidation

As the Director of Financial Consolidation at Viessmann Climate Solutions (VCS), you will be instrumental in guaranteeing the precision and regulatory adherence of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will encompass compliance with US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), Corporate Policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Your Contributions- Oversee the closing processes, consolidation activities, reconciliation tasks, and statutory reporting obligations. Supervise third-party engagements related to general accounting.
- Take ownership of Actuals reporting, financial statement evaluations, reconciliation assessments, and statutory reporting. Ensure a comprehensive control environment for SOX reportable entities, including quarterly certification obligations.
- Facilitate the oversight and coordination of control activities across various entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, German GAAP (HGB), and Corporate Policies.
- Guarantee that all accounting operations align with external reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal or third-party shared services providers. Communicate effectively and influence Key Business Partners, Controllers, Finance Leads, and external stakeholders.
- Identify, articulate, and resolve financial and internal control issues. Provide support and coordinate with Global Tax, internal and external auditors, and service providers.
- Participate in significant projects and strategic initiatives while managing intricate accounting tasks.
You are a proficient communicator who collaborates effectively across diverse stakeholders and geographical regions. You possess:
- Experience in managing key projects and strategic initiatives while handling complex accounting.
- A robust background in finance, ideally within an international context.
- A strong grasp of US GAAP and German GAAP (HGB).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for influencing colleagues throughout the organization.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management.
- Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
