The central development site of Mercedes-Benz is located in Sindelfingen. In addition to the next generation of our vehicles, new production processes are also developed and tested here. By actively working in the start-up factory, the link between product development and the production plant, you will gain an intensive insight into the automotive world of tomorrow, from product development to prototype construction and series production.
The start-up factory, as part of the Chief Engineer Production department, builds future vehicle projects as prototypes for the first time and prepares them for series production.
You will face these challenges:
Supporting the project management of the start-up factory as well as the sub-project management of body shell construction in the processing of the tasks involved in increasing the degree of maturity in prototype construction Collaboration in the evaluation of joining technology in prototype body shell construction Independent processing of smaller projects and presentation of results Initiating measurements with subsequent evaluation Support in the processing of problem areas in body shell construction Participation in project meetings and preparation of decision documents Qualifikationen Degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study Confident written and spoken German and English skills Confident handling of MS Office (focus on Excel and PowerPoint) Knowledge of CAD applications Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of working You quickly familiarize yourself with technical and economic topics and enjoy designing them creatively Communication skills, reliability, organizational talent and initiative round off your profileAdditional information:
