Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
As part of production planning, we manage labor requirements planning for body shell and surface for all model series built at the Sindelfingen site. To this end, we analyze the work processes in production and evaluate them using time modules in order to arrive at the required workforce. In close cooperation with the production managers, we prepare target/actual comparisons, change analyses and help to increase efficiency by optimizing production. We also provide planning and implementation support for the integration of new type vehicles. In this area, we also examine the ergonomics of existing and new workstations.
Your tasks:
Your main assignment will be within Industrial Engineering for Body-in-White and Surface, here you will assist in the preparation of manpower requirements planning. To this end, you will accompany your colleagues into production and, together with production control, determine how the body shop will produce and how many workers are needed for this - you will also support efficiency improvement projects and can generate ideas together with production and planning here As part of the integration of new vehicles, you will support the ergonomic evaluation of workstations - for this purpose, you will carry out on-site inspections of the prototype vehicles and examine whether the work process is ergonomic or how it can be changed if necessary to make it more ergonomic You will also support communication within the department - you will create and coordinate articles for internal communication with your colleagues, participate in future-oriented working groups and thus help shape the further development of production planningWe offer:
