Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
Our mission is to develop a configurator for investments in new car projects. The basic idea is simple: configure a vehicle and receive an estimate of how much investment is required for the production of this vehicle. Project contents and their investments become transparent and can then be better discussed and managed.
Mercedes-Benz has an enormous amount of project and planning expertise that we want to build on. We don't want to reinvent the wheel, but rather intelligently link existing elements and bring them together in a configurator.
In addition to controlling, production planning and product and production strategy are also closely integrated. The configurator includes, for example, the body shell, assembly, factory planning, battery, eATS, axles and supply chain.
These are some of the challenges you will face:
You will work as a full member of the team and contribute to the development of the configurator You will support the development of the software for the configurator and integrate new requirements from the specialist departments You get to know our partner departments in close cooperation and regularly take part in meetings You carry out analyses and evaluations of demand and capacity-relevant key figures and prepare result reports You create PowerPoint documents for top management Qualifikationen Degree course with a technical and business management focus Ideally experience in vehicle production Confident handling of MS Office Ideally initial experience in programming IT tools Commitment and ability to work in a team Analytical mindset and strategic way of working Business fluent in German, knowledge of English is also an advantageAdditional information:
