As assembly planners, we play a pivotal role in the comprehensive planning of all future Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles globally. Our collaboration with development, production, and various business partners is essential to ensure a seamless assembly process. The optimization of all workflows concerning time, quality, and cost efficiency is paramount to uphold our high standards.

Internship Responsibilities

During your internship, you will delve into the intricate planning and assembly processes, which encompass the design and procurement of equipment and handling devices. You will also explore the necessary adjustments to products to facilitate assembly-friendly operations.

Key challenges you will encounter include:

  • Formulating proposals for process and product enhancements
  • Designing and refining equipment and handling devices, including conducting tests
  • Driving digital transformation within assembly planning
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a degree program in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or a related field
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Demonstrated commitment and teamwork capabilities
  • Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills
