Position Overview:

This internship focuses on the field of assembly planning within the production department at Mercedes-Benz. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the comprehensive planning of future Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles globally.
  • Collaborate closely with development, production, and other business partners to ensure seamless assembly operations.
  • Contribute to the optimization of processes concerning time, quality, and cost.
  • Gain insights into complex planning and assembly operations, including the design and procurement of necessary equipment.
  • Engage in the development of proposals aimed at enhancing process and product efficiency.
  • Participate in the design and refinement of equipment and handling devices, including conducting tests.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives within assembly planning.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated commitment and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Possess an analytical mindset and strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills.
