Summary

For the "Engineering Management" department, we are looking for a "Head of the "Engineering Excellence" team (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site at the earliest possible date.

The "Engineering Management" department is responsible for aligning the processes and methods for collaboration within the development departments in the Optronics division, as well as with their stakeholders. This includes workload and resource planning, creating plan/actual transparency and reporting and enabling the ERP system, the R&D cost overview, as well as SAP/CAD tool support and reporting.

Your Tasks

Technical leadership and design of the "Engineering Excellence" team

Advancing and shaping the transformation to operational excellence

Develop methodologies / processes and procedures to enable engineering and interfaces

Independent preparation and provision of meaningful management decision-making aids / evaluations from planning data from the ERP system (SAP) and from decentralized databases / sources

Evaluation, testing and further development of methodologies for the provision of departmental and project-related data (capacity, workload)

Coordination of requirements and clarification of questions / procedures with the responsible persons from Engineering, Finance, the Business Units and Operations

Further development and improvement of information platforms and interfaces

Controlling R&D development projects (costs, time, personnel)

Coordination and interpretation of R&D budget planning for self-financed development projects and their dependency in the supply chain

Reporting and further development of KPIs

Risk management of engineering and verification / coordination of content

Your Profile

Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, process engineering, business informatics or comparable

At least 5 years of experience in process / method development and implementation for multi-project requirements (workload / capa), especially in engineering and the creation of data transparency / KPIs

Experience in the technical management / development of a team

Experience in the use of project management tools / interfaces in SAP

Very good knowledge of SAP PS and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Knowledge of product development processes and workflows advantageous

Communication and moderation skills

Very good German and English skills
