We assist grid operators and renewable energy producers in managing their infrastructure more intelligently and efficiently.Our Asset Monitoring Platform (AMP) provides real-time insights into the condition of networks through IoT technology. This enables our clients to monitor their assets more efficiently, resolve faults faster, and plan maintenance more effectively.Our Teleport team focuses on increasing flexibility in the electricity grid. With our Teleport Gateway, owners of renewable energy sources and batteries can smartly control their assets and better respond to fluctuations in supply and demand. This helps both grid operators and energy producers accelerate the energy transition. >1GW, >1k locationsThe Teleport Gateway is a VDE (Q and Regelleistung (Q compliant solution and supports German utilities and energy traders to make their assets steerable and increase grid flexibility. Read onYour role Business DeveloperAs a Business Developer for Teleport, you are the primary point of contact for clients and prospects. You build relationships with owners of solar parks, wind turbines, batteries, and energy traders (direktvermarkters), helping them operate more flexibly and intelligently in the energy system of the future.You work closely with our Commercial team and Solution Engineers to deliver tailored solutions to German customers. As well as Dutch customers expanding into Germany. With your commercial drive and technical affinity, you identify opportunities and convince prospects of the value of our technology.What will you do?Lead Generation & Sales: Build your own target list, qualify leads, engage in discussions with prospects, and work towards compelling proposals and closing deals.Relationship Management: Establish sustainable relationships and advise prospects on how the Teleport Gateway can help them be better prepared for a future flexible energy system.CRM and Reporting: Maintain all customer contacts and sales processes in HubSpot and report on progress.Identifying Market Opportunities: Spot new possibilities and proactively respond to developments in the sector.Collaboration & Learning: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to increase our market presence by creating substantive content and attending events. Who are we looking for?5 to 10 years of experience in sales and business development in the energy sector in Germany.Preference for having a network with Direktvermarkters, Energy suppliers, O&M parties, EPC'ers and Asset Owners in Germany.Ability and proven track record in building a new partner ecosystem (Cold Start problem)Strong technical affinity and able to connect commercial and technical viewpointsExcellent communication skills in both German and English.Comfortable in an environment where technical developments are fast and our offering develops together with the market.Motivated to build Withthegrid Germany from the ground up.Experience with CRM systems (like HubSpot) is a plus.Strong personal motivation to work in the energy transition.How do we work at Withthegrid?At Withthegrid, we operate in a dynamic and rapidly growing environment where collaboration and innovation are central. Our main office is in Utrecht. For our German team we will open an office in Dusseldorf. We ask you to spend most Wednesdays in the Utrecht office to stay connected with the rest of the sales team.
