The Opportunity

The organisation is seeking a
(Senior) Manager, Corporate M&A
to join its
Frankfurt-based Corporate M&A team
. The role offers hands-on involvement across
end-to-end M&A execution
at group level, from strategic evaluation and valuation through transaction execution and post-deal integration planning.

This position sits at the intersection of
strategy, execution, and stakeholder management
, working closely with internal business units, senior management, and external advisors. In addition to classic M&A, the role also supports
venture-style investments
and contributes to the continuous development of group-wide M&A processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage
  smaller to mid-sized M&A transactions
  across domestic and international group entities, coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors
• Support
  venture and minority investment activities
  , including portfolio monitoring and development of venture capital initiatives
• Perform
  company valuations and financial analyses
  , selecting appropriate transaction structures and assessing strategic and financial implications
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate
  due diligence processes
  across commercial, financial, and operational dimensions
• Support the
  structuring, drafting, and negotiation
  of transaction documentation, including LOIs, non-binding offers, share purchase agreements, and shareholder agreements
• Prepare
  decision materials and presentations
  for senior management and group governance bodies
• Contribute to the
  continuous improvement of M&A processes, tools, and frameworks
  , and support the evolution of the group's overall M&A strategy

Candidate Profile

• 3–6 years of professional experience in
  M&A advisory, investment banking, transaction services, private equity, or corporate M&A
• Hands-on experience in the
  execution and project management of M&A transactions
  , including financial analysis, valuation, and modelling
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a
  structured, results-oriented working style
• Comfortable working in
  cross-functional and international environments
  , with strong stakeholder management capabilities
• High degree of initiative, flexibility, and team orientation
• Advanced proficiency in
  Excel and PowerPoint
  ; experience with databases such as
  FactSet, Mergermarket, or Bloomberg
  is advantageous
• Fluent in
  German and English
  , with strong communication skills in both languages
