We are currently seeking executives who want to acquire new corporate clients and develop innovative climate protection initiatives with them.
As a
non-profit climate protection organization
, our client's main product is carbon offsetting through the development of proprietary renewable energy projects for communities in countries of the Global South. As a recognized quality and market leader in Germany, the organization continues to expand its corporate client base both domestically and internationally. This success is built on strong partnerships with well-known clients, a trusted reputation among governments and NGOs worldwide, and a proven record of impact.
Our client supports large national and international companies in defining and achieving their climate protection goals. In addition to carbon offsetting, the organization provides green energy solutions and proprietary software, creating added value beyond climate protection. The B2B customer base includes medium-sized companies and large corporations across multiple industries, including the service sector.
With growing offices in
Berlin
(currently around 50 employees), as well as country managers and subsidiaries across Europe, Asia, and Africa, our client forms a strong global foundation for successful climate protection. The organization is guided by a board that includes representatives from environmental NGOs and governmental bodies, as well as prominent patrons from politics and academia.
Your Responsibilities
As the leader and driving force of the sales team, you will play a key role in expanding the organization's reach both domestically and internationally. Your main responsibilities include:
- Acquisition of new customers in Germany and abroad, focusing on large corporate clients. You will identify pioneering customers in new markets and negotiate major contracts with international clients.
- Leading, developing, and expanding specialized sales teams.
- Designing and implementing sales campaigns across the organization's full product portfolio — from CO₂ offsets and green energy products to software and consulting services.
- Managing key accounts, including consulting, proposal development, and support for clients' climate strategies.
- Expanding the product portfolio as needed and on your own initiative.
- Coordinating contracts with external service providers.
- Occasional business travel to visit key customers (approximately once or twice per month).
Your Profile
You have:
- A degree in economics, natural sciences, or engineering.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in sales, consultancy, or business development.
- Several years of leadership experience managing small to medium-sized teams.
- A solid understanding of corporate climate protection measures and climate policy.
- Experience in approaching and developing new corporate clients.
- Proven experience in developing and marketing new products.
- A demonstrated commitment to environmental or climate protection, professionally or through volunteer work.
- Initiative, self-motivation, and a strong drive to make a difference for the climate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in
German and English
