YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As an Operations Manager for the Germany region, you will be accountable for the strategy & execution of our in-field operations including 3PL management, workforce management and performance tracking. You will be managing all aspects of contract development, from reviewing to negotiations and execution. In this role, you will report into the Head of Operations and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure our partnerships deliver high value for the company. This will include:
Driving the strategic decision-making process in close collaboration with internal stakeholders in Germany to determine the optimal operational model for each market.Identify & source 3PL logistics partners & own end-to-end contract negotiations.
Owning the budget and forecasting processes for our external partners and internal stakeholders.
Monitoring contract performance and compliance, including conducting periodic local audits.
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to define clear contractual needs and objectives.
Managing critical relationships with our external partners and internal teams to ensure efficient operations.
Working in close collaboration with the broader Market Operations team, acting as the bridge between central and local teams to continuously drive improvements in our ways of working and service delivery.
Creating cross-market supplier strategies and proactively identifying new partnership opportunities to maximize our volume and revenue benefits, ensuring we collaborate with the best suppliers.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We're looking for a strategic thinker and an influential negotiator, someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can cultivate high-value relationships. In addition to being fluent in English and German, we believe the right person has:
Relevant education in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.3-5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, consulting or similar.
A proven track record of successful contract negotiations, demonstrating your ability to secure advantageous terms.
Experience working with and effectively influencing external stakeholders, such as logistic partners and suppliers.
Solid experience working closely with a P&L, navigating complex negotiations, managing budgets, and building robust business cases.
For this position you can be based either in our Hamburg or Berlin office.
