The Role
We're looking for a
Community & CRM Manager
who turns followers into fans and customers into a movement. You'll be the voice between Banana Beauty and our community – building loyalty, driving engagement, and turning data into real relationships. This role is where communication meets connection: from CRM automation to creator DMs, from reviews to loyalty flows. You'll sit at the heart of our Activation Team — working closely with Campaign, Content, and Brand Experience to make Banana Beauty the most loved Berlin-born make-up brand.

Your mission

  • Build and execute CRM strategies (email, WhatsApp, loyalty) that drive retention and engagement.
  • Develop automated customer journeys and segmentation for new launches, sales, and product storytelling.
  • Manage community engagement across channels – from DMs to reviews to advocacy programs.
  • Analyze consumer data and feedback to uncover insights that power campaigns and launches.
  • Partner with the Brand Experience Manager to connect online and offline communities through events and activations.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Brand Campaign Manager to integrate CRM learnings into content and creative briefs.
  • Monitor performance metrics and continuously optimize communication flows.
  • Report on community sentiment, retention KPIs, and actionable consumer insights.

Your profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in CRM, community, or retention marketing, ideally in beauty, lifestyle, or D2C.
  • You bring a growth mindset, see opportunities where others see obstacles, and move fast to make things happen.
  • You're both data-driven and emotionally intelligent: you can read dashboards and people.
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, or WhatsApp Business tools is a plus.
  • Skilled in writing and storytelling with a natural sense for tone and timing.
  • Passionate about community, culture, and making beauty more human.
  • Fluent in English and German ( Italian and/ or French a plus).
  • Based in Berlin (this is an on-site role — we build culture together, not over Zoom).
