We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Field Application Engineer to lead testing, provide technical support, and drive customer engagement for cutting-edge wireless broadband solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead testing activities: lab setup, internal testing, field validation, certification, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Deliver product demos, training sessions, and technical guidance.
  • Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and software teams to improve product design.
  • Document test results and contribute to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Possible occasional trips across UK, Europe, and Taiwan.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years in technical FAE or technical account management roles.
  • Strong expertise in WiFi standards, testing, and certification.
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • English and German at B2 level.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of 4G/5G cellular technologies and network topology.
  • Familiarity with open-source platforms (RDK-B, OpenWRT, Prpl).
  • IoT protocols (ZigBee, Thread, Matter).
  • Programming experience in C/C++, Python, JavaScript.
  • Additional EU languages and Mandarin are nice to have.
