Sr. Application Engineer

Chief Operating Officer.

Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing RFx, tender documents, and customer requirements to prepare comprehensive technical proposal packages.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for system sizing, simulations, and bid package preparation.
  • Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from development to commissioning.
  • Traveling up to 20% (domestic and international) as needed for customer meetings, site visits, industry events, and partner collaborations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Energy Management Systems (EMS) or grid integration.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in the energy storage or power systems industry.
  • PCS experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in simulating BESS and hybrid systems for sizing and performance optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Business fluent English & German language skills. Other European languages would be considered a major plus.
