Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will support a large-scale digital workplace and collaboration platform program. The role focuses on managing development work packages, ensuring alignment with program objectives, and maintaining high standards of planning, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management within a complex IT environment.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of assigned development work packages, including planning, progress tracking, risk management, and communication with project leadership and stakeholders. This position is ideal for experienced project managers who excel in structured, cross-functional projects and can operate confidently in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Planning

• Lead, plan, and execute development work packages related to the digital workplace program.
• Maintain and update schedules and work package structures using MS Project, SharePoint, and Jira.
• Prepare guidance documents and ensure accurate project documentation.

Project Controlling

• Monitor progress, milestones, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, and budget.
• Manage risks, changes, configurations, and cross-team dependencies.
• Ensure transparency and traceability through regular controlling and reporting.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Manage diverse stakeholder groups and resolve conflicts in goals or expectations.
• Prepare and deliver communication materials, presentations, and decision papers for committees and steering bodies.
• Represent assigned work packages in meetings and working groups.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Coordinate meetings, workshops, scheduling, and documentation.
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Maintain project lists, quality documents, and compliance-related records.

Special Assignments

• Support project leadership in strategic, analytical, or organizational tasks.
• Contribute to cross-project initiatives as required.

Required Qualifications
Languages

• German: C1 (CEFR)
• English: sufficient for professional communication

Tools & Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency with:

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• MS Project
• Jira

Education
One Of The Following

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related IT field OR
• Recognized vocational IT qualification OR
• At least 6 years of professional experience in the IT environment

Professional Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management for medium-sized and moderately complex IT projects.
• Experience must be continuous, substantial, and demonstrated through detailed project references (industry, project title, description, duration, responsibilities).
