Internal Control Manager AGS m/f/d

Position
MISSION

Ensures the management of the internal control function for the AGS (Austria-Germany-Switzerland) distribution companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Acting as an ambassador for Internal control: prepare and present reports and findings, that reflect control risks and opportunities, to leadership team and company wide
• Manage the Internal Control self-assessment campaign to be reported to LVMH Group
• Perform Internal Control reviews on specific topics and specific markets, to ensure compliance with Moët Hennessy/LVMH global policies and local regulations.
• Engage with business partners to pro-actively provide advisory and guidance on risks and controls for new projects, programs or initiatives.
• Work closely with the business to build an exhaustive set of procedures covering all areas of the business (Finance, sales, inventory, HR, marketing, supply chain, etc.) and control their application ensuring a continuous improvement of business processes
• Interview employees at all levels of the organization regarding potentially complex and sensitive matters. Maintain extreme confidentiality of all investigation matters.
• Assist in the follow up of action plans from operational audits, ensuring timely closure and a review of supporting documentation
• Active participation in business projects, ad-hoc audits, projects reviews or similar upon request depending on needs within the organization.
• Business partner with the nominated process owner to ensure that action plans are achieved, on time and in full
• Ensure that the crisis management documentation is updated on a regular basis and well known across the organization
• Assist Markets during internal audit phases but also with external auditors when requested
• Review the responses to internal and external audit management letter queries to ensure that recommendations are implemented

Risk Management

• Coordinate the Business Continuity Plan
• Actively participates to update the Risk Assessment of AGS through a regular review of the Operational Major Risk matrix
• Follow-up and Update the AGS Risk Assessment Action Plans and Mapping.

Projects

• Initiate ad hoc special Projects as required by the business
• Collaborating company-wide (all departments) to simplify, harmonise and improve processes.

Profile
Education:
Completed studies in economics, law or equivalent work experience in auditing or consulting

Languages:
Fluent English, at least one additional European language (German a strong advantage)

Professional Experience & Know How

• At least 3 years of progressive experience in a finance function with focus on internal control and/or business processes
• Ideally relevant experience as project manager with management stakeholders

Technical & Management Skills

• Solid knowledge of internal control, risk management, governance and business/financial processes
• Good knowledge of current accounting procedures
• Strong analytical skills: skilful at collecting and organizing data, logically interpreting it, putting forward recommendations:
• Good presentation skills: ability to prepare and deliver presentations to management, with the goal to drive change and make a positive impact
• Ability to manage complexity but the logic power to simplify and recommend pragmatic and practical solutions

Type of contract: Temporary, approx. 12 months
