 Our client is a fast-growing European leader in the design, production, and distribution of industrial pumps, connectors, and related solutions. Headquartered in Southern Europe, the company has experienced significant expansion in recent years, driven by high market demand and a strong private equity partnership. Their products are manufactured in Spain and distributed across multiple European markets, with established teams in Italy, France, the UK, India, and Spain. Germany is considered a key strategic market for the next phase of growth, with untapped potential beyond the current client base.

The Role
 We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly independent Country Manager to spearhead operations in Germany. This is a strategic position that combines business development, operational setup, and account management. You will be the first senior hire for the German market, with the mandate to grow revenue, diversify the client portfolio, and establish a local presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales efforts for industrial machinery (air compressors, pumps, connectors) in the German market.
  • Manage and expand the existing portfolio of key accounts, while driving new business development.
  • Oversee operational activities, including warehouse coordination, logistics, and administrative processes.
  • Play a central role in setting up potential German operations (entity establishment, facilities, staffing).
  • Coordinate closely with corporate leadership and other country managers to align market strategy.
  • Ensure smooth distribution from production facilities in Spain to German clients.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of proven experience in sales and management within industrial machinery manufacturing or related sectors.
  • Strong administrative and operational background (warehouse, back office, facility management).
  • Track record of managing both strategic accounts and generating new business.
  • Highly independent, self-driven, and able to operate in a startup-like market entry context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Based in Germany (flexible on location, ideally within an industrial hub).
  • Native/Fluent German and fluent English required.
