About Our Client

Our client is an international renewable energy group that combines advanced technology with digital innovation to accelerate the global clean-energy transition. Through an integrated platform and service ecosystem, the company empowers solar and storage professionals with solutions for design, procurement, financing, and operations - enabling partners to deliver smarter, faster, and more profitable energy projects.

As part of its global expansion, the company is now entering the German market and is looking for a Country Manager (m/f/d) Germany to establish and manage its  presence locally. This is a career-defining opportunity for a highly motivated professional who combines commercial leadership, digital expertise, and industry insight.
As the company's first leader in Germany, you will enjoy broad entrepreneurial freedom to shape the market entry, build partnerships, and establish a strong operational foundation - working closely with the global executive team and contributing directly to strategic decisions at an international level.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Define and execute the growth strategy for Germany in line with global objectives.
  • Identify industry trends, regulatory shifts and market opportunities in solar, storage and distributed energy.
  • Develop partnerships with installers, distributors and channel partners; deliver market insight and feedback to headquarters.
  • Own the revenue and customer acquisition targets for Germany.
  • Build and lead the commercial/sales team to drive adoption and retention.
  • Manage strategic relationships with channel partners, suppliers and industry stakeholders; define pricing and commercial models for local needs.
  • Oversee daily operations including sales support, customer success, logistics, technical support.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, partner engagement and high service levels.
  • Drive process improvement and ensure compliance with German regulations and standards.
  • Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing team across operations and sales functions.
  • Foster a results-driven culture and act as the local bridge between German operations and global HQ.
  • Manage the P&L for German operations, budget planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide strategic input to shape product adoption, market trends and customer behaviour.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and with key stakeholders in Germany.
  • Build relationships with policy makers, industry associations and strategic partners.

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • 10+ years' experience in renewables, digital energy solutions, or related sectors, including senior leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of scaling B2B businesses or launching new markets.
  • Commercial mindset with P&L ownership and hands-on execution.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the German energy market and associated regulatory environment.
  • Fluency in German (native) and English.
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient and motivated to lead in a high-growth environment.
