Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.- As Expert international Procurement you will support international purchasing processes within Welthungerhilfe and ensure that the procurement policy is adhered to and that purchasing processes are carried out efficiently.**Your responsibilities**: - Professional advice for colleagues in purchasing processes - Purchasing goods and services of all kinds /especially consultancy contracts) - Independent commercial processing (obtaining offers, evaluation, extensive coordination with the respective client, awarding, quality control, invoicing, submission of invoices, documentation in SAP) - Export of goods by air and sea transport, coordination with service providers, processing customs matters, etc. - Continuation of supplier/service provider pools - Visits to suppliers and trade fairs to maintain relationships, check quality, expand knowledge and acquire suppliers - Consideration of sustainability criteria in the procurement process - Supporting colleagues in the procurement of goods and services, according to specifications and requirements - Projects in the context of digitalization **Your profile**: - A university or college degree or apprenticeship in a relevant field - At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing or logistics - Experience with purchasing processes in the public sector/NGOs and procurement guidelines (UVgO, VgV, GWB) is an advantage - Experience with the commissioning and processing of service contracts is an advantage - Strong communication skills in working with colleagues, suppliers and service providers - Experience with digital tendering portals is an asset - SAP MM knowledge is an advantage - Very good written and spoken German and English skills; French language skills are an advantage. **Our offer**: - We offer you the opportunity to work in a responsible and interesting field as part of an extremely dedicated team.
