We participate in tenders of internationally renowned clients such as GIZ, KfW, EIB, EU, ADB, and WB and implement currently projects in 55 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America.

AFC was founded in 1973 and is a member of the GOPA Consulting Group, Germany's largest group of consulting firms in development cooperation with an annual turnover of approx. EUR 240 million in 2021.

AFC generates a turnover of 33 Mio. per year and employs 60 permanent staff members in our headquarters in Germany to manage around 800 professionals in 87 AFC offices abroad.

**Recruiter for international Development Cooperation (M/F/d)**

With solid experience with international donors in particular with EU tenders, to start as soon as possible in AFC office in Bonn (near Cologne) or working remotely worldwide after the onboarding phase.

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for the recruitment of experts in our development cooperation projects, particularly for EU tenders and you will join a global team working from offices or from home across the World.

As Recruiter, you are the first point of contact for the people who are most important for the success of our international projects: our experts on site. You manage and supervise the whole recruitment cycle holistically and build long-lasting relationships with our project staff, expanding our network of experts.

**Your responsibilities/tasks**:

- Lead the recruitment for international experts for EU tenders and be the main interface with Project Manager
- Engage with Project Manager to understand requirements of open roles, including required skillsets, technologies, experience, education, and competencies
- You formulate, place and have creative dissemination of job advertisements
- You conduct interviews (initial contacts: suitability, availability, fee)
- You cooperate with our experts and compile all necessary documentation, from experts CV to work certificates, demonstrating your linguistic and analytical skills
- Maintain and grow a strong network
- Update and maintain internal database system (Staffexpert)
- Attend networking events/conferences where possible

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous successful track record recruiting into EU tender/projects
- Ability to identify, attract and approach job seekers through networking, referrals and direct sourcing methods
- You have work experience in recruiting business in an international environment or project management of TA-programs
- High levels of tenacity, creativity and lateral thinking
- Fluent English to a native level is essential - an alternative European language proficiency (both written & verbal) is a distinct and preferable advantage
- You know the current trends in recruiting and are already looking forward to supporting us with your ideas and experience in the further development of innovative recruiting
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills; you will be enthused by the opportunity to work as part of a high performing and fun European Expert Acquisition function
- You have experience in personnel selection and in analyzing CVs
