The **Sales Operations Specialist (f/m/d**) is responsible for supporting and managing all sales operations activities including tender and contracts management, new account activations, supporting sales quoting, instrument & reagent reporting and ad hoc project support as needed.
In this position you will be is part of the Business Operations department and will be located in our Krefeld office with opportunity to work hybrid (up to 3 days from home office).
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Provide support to a specified Sales Region in the closure of commercial agreements - working in line with sales, order management, contracts and legal teams if required
- Prepare and submit tender responses on behalf in line with the commercial strategy ensuring they are submitted on time
- Process all contract requests per policy guidelines, obtaining approvals as necessary
- Work with Sales Team when contracts are due for renewal or expired
- Attend relevant sales ops & legal meetings to ensure all non‐standard contracts and pricing issues are addressed appropriately
- Document, incorporate and share information to sales teams regarding contract updates, pricing, promotions, new product launches and related policy changes
- Responsible for creation and amendment of customer accounts, work with the Master Data Management (MDM) team. Provide back up to MDM team when required
- Responsible for customer pricing - ensuring prices are created in SAP, and dealing with annual renewals
- Demonstrate high commitment in resolving customers enquiries, issues and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Lead daily Visual Daily Management meetings with the rest of the team to drive improvements in key metrics with a continuous improvement attitude to drive customer satisfaction
- Provide back-up support to team members as needed, this includes answering customer calls, placing orders and other order management activities
- Participate in process project improvement efforts for Sales Operations through collaborative system automation projects and the documenting of new or enhanced processes
- Actively participate in cross functional projects
- Design and provide ad‐hoc reports to team members, Manager and other departments as requested
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational training (Berufsausbildung) in a commercial field with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Tender Management experience - minimum 2-3 years would be highly desired
- High attention to detail with the ability to effectively review and understand sales agreements, proposals, purchase orders, and related information
- Speaking fluently in English and German languages
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar and with CRM systems such as SFDC
- Demonstrating an attitude of collaboration, leadership and accountability
