**What will you be doing in the position of Sourcing Specialist?**:
The Sourcing Specialist is specialized in the selection of products and suppliers for MAG45 customers based on analyzing their needs and demands. The Sourcing Specialist starts a procurement process to secure the supply of products and services to MAG45 customers against the best conditions (quality, commercial, logistic, and technology) within the boundaries of the purchasing strategy.

The Sourcing Specialist monitors the process and adjusts where necessary to achieve the set targets on established key performance indicators (KPIs). Content Management, managing and updating product, and supplier information in the relevant ERP system is a key responsibility of the Sourcing Specialist.

The Sourcing Specialist is instrumental to the rest of the Procurement team in understanding the possibilities of the local market in Germany, providing initiatives and ideas to improve the sourcing process and when the ideas are approved in executing the ideas. The Sourcing Specialist monitors the spending and identifies opportunities to increase quality and improve value for money.

The Sourcing Specialist may be required to work on projects of MAG45 from time to time to bring procurement expertise to a project team. This approach brings responsibilities such as negotiating with suppliers to meet quality delivery and cost objectives. Handling information requests, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes. Cooperation with the internal and external customers and offering advice on operational issues, escalate when necessary.

The Sourcing Specialist will report to the Country Manager in Germany and will work closely with the Procurement Department based in the Netherlands and other sourcing employees located in the international hubs of MAG45.

People describe you as solution-oriented and decisive. You know how to manage supplier and customers’ expectations and are adaptable to their needs. You also have:

- A completed Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the fields of Supply Chain, Engineering, or manufacturing;
- Experience in purchasing (managing tenders and contracts);
- Commercial affinity and proven track record of effective negotiation skills;
- Knowledge of project management methods is a distinct advantage;
- Strong organizational and analytical skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues, internal and external customers, and suppliers;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent Excel skills is a plus;
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English language. If you speak another European language, this is a plus.
