We are looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to on of the largest Medical Device Companies in Germany. In this role, you will manage strategic purchasing activities, develop supplier relationships, and lead cost optimisation initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Global Sourcing, and Operations to ensure supply chain excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Drive cost optimisation projects and manage framework agreements.
  • Conduct market research and develop category strategies.
  • Support supplier audits and manage correspondence in German and English.
  • Prepare analyses, KPIs, and maintain purchasing master data.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in business or technical studies; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic purchasing of direct materials in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
