Delivery Hero is looking for an Finance Insights Director, Europe (f/m/d) to build and lead the FP&A and Controlling function of the Europe region. Tell the financial story of the Delivery Hero’s businesses for a subset of the local European markets in the newly created European team and drive profitability and growth The role is located in Berlin and will report to the CFO Europe.

**Your mission**:

- Build and lead the European FP&A and Controlling team and foster cross-regional alignment across 8 markets
- Build regional processes and optimize local processes to ensure financial performance of the region improves, this includes but is not limited to monthly variance analysis, performance calls and run rate reviews
- Be the owner of all forecasting and planning exercises regionally, using the central tools provided and (where needed) rolling our further approaches to ensure smooth processes and accurate planning figures
- Prepare and present monthly business review reports, analysis and slides to (among others) local/regional CFO and CEO
- Review business cases / investment proposals and develop standard frameworks that support your investment decision
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies, profitability or growth, supported by strong analysis
- Forge strong relationships with local as well as global stakeholders. Be a business partner to other members of the regional leadership team
- Hire, lead, and mentor a high performing team

**Your heroic skills**:

- 8+ years of experience in a related field in Finance, ideally with experience in an ecommerce / digital environment and experience as part of a leadership team
- Structured thinking and used to dealing with complexity in a fast-paced environment - potentially a background in professional services (investment banking, consulting, transaction services)
- Highly analytical with a strong business acumen
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate to/influence a diverse audience
- You have a proven track record in hiring, leading, and nurturing high performing teams
- Team player that doesn’t take him-/herself too seriously
- Fluent English speaker
- Experience with SAP and/or Business Intelligence tools (such as tableau) is a strong plus
