**Your Responsibilities**:
**The role**

We are looking for an ambitious **Director Financ**e (M/F/x) **to oversee the financial aspects of business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments. As Director Finance you are a reliable professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and business principles. You are a strategic thinker and an effective leader who can make the most profitable decisions. Your duties include establishing targets, developing budgets and performing financial analysis. You are an excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal and leadership abilities. Your ultimate goal will be to guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
- Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
- Oversee the company’s finance IT system
- Set targets for and supervise the accounting and finance personnel
- Lead audit and internal control operations
- Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

**Your Qualifications**:

- Proven experience of 7-10 years in banking, investing or accounting is required. Ideally you have already experience as Director Finance or in a similar role.
- Bachelor in finance, economics, accounting, business or a related major is required. MBA or a Master in Finance is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- International exposure and experience

**Please note**: The position must commute between the HQ Rostock and the Berlin location (frequency is negotiable). In addition, remote work is possible.
