Hemby has built a tech platform that changes the way home care is delivered. Our end-to-end technology allows us to provide home care with on-demand-like speed - where customers get personally dedicated carers in hours, not days or weeks.

We’re also Europe’s first care platform that is an approved home care provider (Pflegedienst) and meets the eligibility criteria for public funding (Pflegekasse). Our customers and carers love our model - giving us a 90 NPS and 4.8/5 visit score after over 250,000 hours of visits delivered.

Hemby is an award-winning Venture Capital-backed company, with a globally ambitious team. We operate in Finland, Germany and very soon also the UK.

We’re currently winning market share in Germany, growing 10-20%+ month-on-month, and are rolling out our model to all large metropolitan areas in Germany. We currently offer our services in Berlin, Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg - and soon nationwide.

Backed by cutting-edge technology, our operations ensure every interaction runs smoothly, from onboarding new customers and team members, to nurturing exceptional client relationships. As a key player in this team, you are at the forefront of making everything work seamlessly, day in and day out.

**Your responsibilities**

As our Operations Lead in Germany, you will inspire and develop a high-performing team that manages daily operations nationwide. Currently, the operations team that you would be leading has 10+ members, and during 2025 this will grow to 20-30 teammates. This means fostering a culture of celebrating successes, learning from setbacks and developing individuals. You take charge of improving processes, tools, and systems to drive scalability and operational excellence. As part of the German Management Team, you contribute to strategic discussions, identify growth opportunities, and lead initiatives to continuously improve how we operate.

**What we’re looking for**

We’re searching for a hands-on leader who knows how to motivate and guide teams effectively, has a curiosity for leveraging technology to enhance customer service, and demonstrates strong business judgement. Fluency in German is essential, and prior experience leading teams in dynamic, fast-changing environments—like startups or scale-ups—is highly valued. We see that success in this role comes from your ability to adapt to change, prioritize effectively, and lead with clarity. You’re skilled at sorting through competing demands, keeping your team focused on what truly matters. You bring calm and motivation under pressure, ensuring your team stays on track to meet both short-term objectives and long-term goals.

**What we offer you**

We offer a competitive monthly salary between 5,000€ and 7,000€, plus equity, depending on your level of experience.
