About the Role & its Responsibilities
We are looking for an Education Lead for the EIT Health Co-location Center Germany-Switzerland,
to join our complex and multinational environment and contribute to the upskilling of
European healthcare. As Education Lead, you will have a shared role and report to the Managing
Director at the Co-location Center (CLC) in Germany, where this position is located, as well as the
Austrian CLC, while allocating 80% of the time to activities managed by the Education Director in the

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the implementation of EIT Health’s education strategy across all of its Co-location

Centers (CLCs).
- Act as first point of contact, reference and coordinator for specific track(s) in the education

and training portfolio, in this case, EIT Health Degree Programmes.
- Ensure high quality content development by supporting projects in allocated track(s) - primarily once projects are selected and move to implementation and deployment, but also by
providing guidance and assistance to the Eco-System Leads as they support project
development.
- Contribute to ensuring quality and impact of projects, by engaging with project

leads/members in instructional design, adult learning principles and impact framework.
- Actively contribute to writing call documents with Heads of Pathways and Education Director.

- Collaborate with the EIT Label Manager where and when relevant for the labelling and

monitoring of labelled activities.
- Take part in the delivery of the selection process (EOIs, evaluations, hearings, etc.) if needed.
- Monitor progress and offer relevant remediation measures to ensure projects deliver on
- agreed performance and impact goals.- Build strong relationships within the local education ecosystem and function as a “bridge”
- between CLCs.- Support the CLC MDs, CLC Eco-System Leads, Director of Education, Heads of Pathways and

the other CLC Education Leads, in aligning education and training activities across CLCs and
integration of the knowledge triangle across regions.
- Collaborate on cross-KIC initiatives where and when relevant to their Pillar role.

Current Priorities:

- Support Education strategy and content development and implementation.
- Manage and provide support to allocated types of Education projects/programmes / tracks.
- Take responsibility for the coordination of the Degree Programmes.
- Work closely with CLC MDs and Eco-System Leads to help identify and define education

requirements and needs to develop new education opportunities; provide CLC perspective
into all Education programmes/criteria and decisions.
- Collaborate/support in close collaboration with the EIT Label Manager where and when

relevant for the labelling and monitoring of labelled activities.
- Engage with the relevant Professional (Innovation Adoption) Education Leads and work with

Education Team to make collective decisions.
- Act as Activity Lead in Plaza where relevant (umbrella KAVA), reporting duties at relevant

timelines of EIT Business Plans.
- Work cross-functionally with CO and CLC staff from other pillars to ensure cross-pillar

alignment across EIT Health’s innovation, business creation and education portfolios.
- Advise other Education Leads, as well as the CLC Eco-System Leads, in the recruitment of

participants to the programmes and the Alumni Network.
- Required Qualifications & Profile

Essential:

- Education level: relevant academic degree at Master level or higher in a relevant health or

science discip
