Insurance Account Technician

**Job Purpose/ Role**

At AGCS our account technicians support the business by capturing and processing policy information, from submissions through to billing and collection. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and operational effectiveness for our clients.

Reporting to Teamlead Operations Energy/Construction & FTB, your primary responsibility will be to provide an efficient administrative and processing service to Underwriting, Accounting, Claims and our Brokers/Clients. Your responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting source underwriting materials to ensure all information is complete including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts.

**Responsibilities**

In this role you will
- Responsible for policy administration of assigned corporate clients
- Coordinate with Underwriting to address questions and issues regarding cover and wording. Authorisation in line with assigned limits
- Use relevant information to accurately and efficiently populate IT system(s) with new and renewed business. Prepare regular reports
- Invoices and produce all relevant documentation, e.g. policies, certificates, endorsements to the Broker, Client or Co-Insurers in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounting, Reinsurance and Brokers; attending relevant meetings, as required
- Maintain, monitor and follow-up on all accounts, according to the respective level of responsibility and escalate any issues as required

**To be successful in the role**:
You will have
- A completed a recognised insurance qualification
- Experience of policy administration in the insurance sector
- Fluent German and very good English skills (a third language is an advantage)

Ideally you will also have
- Good communication skills - verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills
- Particularly strong teamwork skills
