Director of CEO/strategic Communications

Reporting directly to the SVP of Corporate Communications, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our executive leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure that our target groups are informed and engaged with our business goals and objectives and support our change management initiatives.

To succeed, you must be:
- A creative and strategic communicator- Have an all-round working knowledge of the various disciplines of communications, such as media relations, social media, crisis management, and employee engagement- Able to manage numerous complex projects- Have an optimistic, open-minded, curious, and hands-on mentality- Capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels within and outside the company- An excellent writer and editor with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messages- In addition to a diplomatic flair, bring assertiveness and enthusiasm to the table- A native speaker of English, good knowledge of German is a nice to have

**Responsibilities**:
- Preparation and drafting of speeches, name contributions and special correspondence for the CEO- Own and manage the CEO’s internal and external channels with your team (e.g., social media, website, newsletter, blog, tutorials, events, and conferences)- Support Software AG’s management, especially the CEO, in planning, executing, and implementing strategic projects- Develop strong working relationships with all communications and other teams to create operational synergies and efficiencies- Monitor the effectiveness of all owned channels, tracking quantitative and qualitative KPIs and making recommendations for improvement- Accompany the CEO or Executive Board members at meetings and events, if necessary

Skills and Competencies:
- 5 to 8 years of experience working in corporate communications, a PR agency or in technology or global business services functions and willing to grow- Expertise in working in an international environment- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with solid content production skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, video, intranet, social media)- Successful record of leading multi-disciplinary teams- Conceptual thinker with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.- A real team player with experience in partnering with others to deliver as a team
