At Wakam, ambition, autonomy, and impact are not just encouraged — they're expected and celebrated. **Your Mission**: **As Senior Sales Director, your mission is to accelerate Wakam's growth across key Nordic markets**. with a focus on regions where we want to strengthen our footprint (Southern, Central, or Western Europe depending on your location and expertise). You will identify and close high-value distribution partnerships, particularly with brokers, MGAs, fintechs, insurtechs, retailers, and digital marketplaces. You'll represent Wakam's modern vision of embedded and B2B2C insurance — and be the local face of our "fast-to-market" promise. **Your core responsibilities**: - **Lead Market Growth**: Take ownership of business development across your designated European markets. Identify new leads, close strategic deals, and expand existing partnerships. - **Build Trusted Partnerships**: Understand your partners' ecosystems and propose tailored insurance solutions that match their operational models and customers' needs. - **Coordinate Internally**: Work hand-in-hand with our Underwriting, Pricing, and Delivery teams to co-build and launch insurance programs in record time. - **Focus on Profitability**: You're not just chasing volume — you ensure commercial deals align with Wakam's risk appetite and contribute to long-term profitability. - **Act as the Local Voice of Wakam**: Represent us at industry events, pitch with confidence, and build Wakam's visibility as a tech-forward insurance partner. - **Leverage Innovation**: Be AI-curious.
