Job Summary
Block is looking for an Experience Coordinator to assist with various projects in our office. As the Experience Coordinator you will be part of the Workplace Team working closely with the Workplace Experience Manager. This position is equal parts collaborative project management and administration of ongoing work. Our office coordinator is a creative problem solver with high attention to detail, impeccable communication skills, and a proactive approach to tackling
issues. The right person for this role is someone who can navigate successfully between the big and small components of their work, and is ready and willing to roll up their sleeves to do what’s needed to get the job done, to ensure everyone's experience at Square Atlanta is pleasant.
**Job Description**:
You Will:
- Manage & regularly audit conference room bookings
- Update and maintain the ATL Contentful page with current information
- Swag ATL stock, sales and distribution management
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail while maintaining order in the mailroom
- Act as secondary point of contact in reception, setting the tone for a stellar experience for all visitors (break and OOO coverage for T&S)
- Assist with supporting events & special events (quarterly offsites, Square birthdays, Bring Your Kid to Work Day, school field trips, seller pop ups etc)
- Assist with budgeting when necessary, entering spend into the budget tracker and Expensify
- Assist with office requests ranging from ordering ergo equipment to ordering food for events to managing conference room conflicts & last minute requests
- Assist in highlight our sellers by researching new sellers to bring in and being the point of contact upon arrival
- Assist in planning monthly office social by working with hosts to order decor, entertainment, food, and beverage within budget
- Inventory management, including but not limited to office supplies, ergo, culinary, and alcohol
- Work cross functionally with our Security & IT/AV Teams when needed
- Assist with events, office moves, writing, and research projects, as well as a variety of other administrative and special projects around the office as signed
- Special projects as needed
- Essorting vendors within the office space as needed
- Reporting any building issues to our facilities team
- Respond timely to facility related tickets in a timely fashion
You Have:
- Demonstrated experience in a reception, facilities, customer service, or hospitality role
- Ability to properly manage expectations
- The desire to always expand your knowledge and are a fast learner
- Strong and clear communication skills both written and verbal, and an ability to converse easily with anyone and everyone
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to multitask and work well under pressure - you excel at creatively and resourcefully solving a wide problems and tasks on a daily basis
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Proactive rather than reactive approach to tasks
- Out-of-the box thinking
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Flexible hours are required, with core work largely during regular business hours
