Project Director for Microcontroller Development

In this function you will be managing complex projects for Automotive Microcontroller Chip Hardware with several stakeholders across different sites and continents. Manages and executes the definition, implementation and roll-out of projects in scope, in budget, in time including document management for functional safety, cyber security, data and change management. This position is part of Infineon’s Project Management Career Path. In your new role you will:

- **Plan **and **manage **Automotive Microcontroller **development projects **for the entire **project lifecycle **and coordinate project activities across various Infineon sites
- **Define the project deliveries **together with the supporting projects
- Be responsible for the **project execution & controlling **with respect to project schedule, budget, and scope
- **Define, plan, resource and budget all required activities **while leading your sub project leaders & project members across multiple functions to solve complex tasks
- Conduct regular **reporting to stakeholders **and contribute to an **open, active and early stage communication and escalation**:

- **Assure compliance **of the methodology to **automotive safety **and **cyber security **standards**

You are personally committed to the customer’s concerns and award them a high priority. At the same time, you remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations and take actions despite uncertain circumstances. You are equipped with a high motivation for problem solving and decision making. Thereby you are able to balance interests of various stakeholders and use the creative potential they offer.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A **degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Business Administration **or similar with a high motivation to expand your personal scope
- At least **7+ years of **practical experience and thereof 6 in managing diverse project teams with sub projects **in the (automotive) semiconductor industry
- **Professional experience **on **development of Microprocessor Chip Hardware**:

- **Knowledge about automotive standards **(e.g. ISO 16949, ISO 26262) **and quality management systems **(ISO 10007) is highly appreciated
- Experience with **EDA **tools, IC **design flows **, **Software **development, **IT**:

- Experience as **mentor or tutor is a plus**:

- **A pro-active attitude **in identifying and **managing risks **as well as **strong communication **and **presentation skills**:

- **Excellent English **language skills, German is desired
