**Head of Claims (M/F/d)**
**Your responsibilities**:
- Take a leading role in negotiating claims settlements and establishing adequate claims reserves
- manage claims team and mentor team members
- lead claims interactions with insurance customers and brokers
- establish relationships with customers and brokers
- manage relationships with service providers and layers
- liaison with the operations team
- reporting to management
**Your profile**:
- degree or training in insurance or a comparable qualification, legal qualifications are an asset
- good knowledge of the insurance market in Germany and ideally in Europe
- technical claims expertise
- business fluent in German and fluent in English (written and spoken)
- leadership competence and good communication skills
- excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- problem solving skills
