The Head of Market for our largest market Germany, plays a key role in driving our business growth. The Head of Market ensures the achievement of profit and sales targets and you support the fulfilment of the overall strategic goals. You lead the national team and enable them to be their best selves at work.

**Your responsibilities at C&A**:

- Ensure best in class execution of guidelines and standards from Centres of Excellence in stores and market head office in order to secure performance
- Contribute with expertise in developing investment plans for the assigned market, ensuring optimised cash flow and liquidity
- Lead, coach and develop co-workers in order to ensure a high performing team and succession
- Give market expert feedback to Centres of Excellence regarding execution in Real Estate, Commercial Planning, People & Culture, Marketing and Business Navigation to ensure guidelines are met and to highlight any deviations from standards
- Drive the implementation, and support the European head office in finding the right and feasible business solutions for the markets to support the business development
- Ensure, encourage and accelerate online mindset and way of working on the shopfloor and in the head office by leading by example in order to become an omni channel company

**What we expect from you**:

- A university degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or a related field, or proven ability to act on this level
- A solid track record in retail organisations
- Multiple years of senior leadership experience in a complex and international environment
- Prior experience of major sales responsibility in several countries
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working in a matrix organisation
- Fluent in English
