We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Head of Performance Marketing (f/m/d) to join our Regional Europe Team in our incredible Hero Hub in the heart of Berlin.
As the Regional Head of Performance Marketing, you will work with the Senior Director Growth and our regional CMO, our markets, as well as other regional marketing stakeholders to lead our performance marketing.
**Your mission**:
- Define, own and execute our long term performance marketing user acquisition strategy
- Manage the strategy & budget for the performance marketing channels and optimize channel mix based on performance and ROI
- Build a culture of testing and experimentation with the goal of continuously optimizing the return on performance marketing spend
- Drive strategic decisions based on incrementally tests to optimize channel-mix, CPA, and budgets
- Support scaling existing channels and identify development of new opportunities for growth and improving efficiencies
- Partner with country teams to plan budgets that drive efficient customer growth, and set a strategic approach to enhance cross-vertical user behavior
- Lead & mentor the team of regional channel managers (including i.a. SEM, paid social, display, mobile networks, ASM)
- Partner with the retention, brand & campaign teams to devise strategies on customer engagement & communication
- Partner up with the Marketing Tech teams to ensure sensible and and smooth roll out of Performance Marketing related projects pushing for a high degree of automation
**Your heroic skills**:
- 8 to 10+ years experience in Performance Marketing across at least 3 channels (SEM, Paid Social and Display preferential)
- You have been managing a team for the past 3+ years
- Experience working in an agency environment and/or a complex, matrix managed organization is desirable
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of online advertising platforms and analytics tools for online channels (AdWords, Facebook, YouTube, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Deep understanding of attribution models, lift tests and web/app tracking systems
- You have a proven track record of working at well-funded B2C Internet companies and have experience with budget allocation and optimisation
- Hands-on mentality, an analytical and structured way of working, with extraordinary logical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and solve problems autonomously
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Verbal & written fluency in English, additional languages is a plus
