**Duties**:

- Provides the full range of personnel management responsibilities for subordinate employees.
- As Recreation Delivery Program Team leader is responsible for planning and executing of community special events that respond to the needs and interest of the military/civilian population.
- Evaluates each program area for effectiveness (i.e. personnel performance, facility operations, services), conformance to standards and regulations, and alignment with command mission requirements.
- As the Team Leader, responsible for overall management and direction of recreation activities. Programs include: Sports and Fitness, Arts and Crafts, Outdoor Recreation, Library, ITR, and Recreation Center.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid US Army Europe (USAREUR) Certificate of license.
- Privately-owned vehicle's (POV) must be registered in Poland. You will be required to register on the Polish economy and obtain insurance. Some insurance companies may not provide coverage for Poland.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain an official no-fee passport.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- The duty location for this position is Wiesbaden, Germany. Selectee will receive a temporary change in station (TCS) orders to Poznan/Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area (DPTA) to serve a 24 month, unaccompanied tour.
- Work requires the use of physical exertion when preparing for and overseeing specialist events.
- Must be able to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items.

**Qualifications**:

- Possesses direct work experience that shows the applicant has the ability, knowledge, skills, principals, methods and techniques to plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and evaluate a recreational program. Resume must demonstrate work experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.**Highly Qualified Criteria**:

- Possess 5 or more years of Recreation/Business experience (or degree in recreation or hospitality) to include program, facility, and leadership management or oversight. Experience should include Army garrison or similar operational organization management and/or region level
- Possess knowledge and experience in resource (APF & NAF) management policies governing personnel, programs and facilities.
- Possess strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to develop and present briefings, as well as write staff papers and formulate plans.
- Possess experience in developing and executing recreation/business programs
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.

- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are be authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
- Allowances, differentials, or incentives will be paid. Separate Maintenance allowance (SMA) may be authorized. Living quarters allowance and Post Allowance may be authorized to allow individuals to live on the local economy.
