SEO Specialist

**Your mission**:
At GotPhoto, we are passionate about making school and other portrait photographers more successful. For our global marketing team, we are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist who wants to join us on our journey to digitalizing volume photography. As an SEO Specialist at GotPhoto, you will be optimizing our website and digital presence to attract relevant organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance overall visibility in search engine results pages.

**Your role**:
Within the fast-growing marketing department, you will be part of the growth & analytics team reporting to our Growth Marketing Lead. As an SEO Specialist, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improved organic visibility
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies including on-page and off-page optimization
- Optimize our website content and structure as well as metadata
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve any website performance issues that may impact search rankings
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and platforms, and provide regular reports and recommendations to optimize rankings and traffic
- Collaborate closely with our content team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital channels
- Stay informed about competitors' SEO strategies and make proactive recommendations to stay ahead of the competition
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO

**Skills we are looking for**:

- You have 3+ years of experience in digital marketing with a proven track record in SEO
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques, including on-page optimization, off-page optimization, keyword research, and link building
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Proficiency in relevant SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Semrush, SEOlyze, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across a global team
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Certifications in SEO or related fields are a plus
- You have full professional proficiency in English & general working proficiency in German
- Having worked in the US and/or International Markets would be highly advantageous, with the ability to adapt to different cultures and markets
