**Your role**:
We're looking for a **SEO Specialist** to help us drive inbound demand and ensure SEO hygiene at Lano. As you will be the first SEO specialist, you'll play a key role in establishing Lano's inbound marketing function. You'll help shape key marketing initiatives and play a strong role in helping drive business goals through organic growth. You'll work collaboratively across the team, and report to the Director of Marketing to team up on delivering against company acquisition and conversion goals.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Technical SEO: You'll be in charge of driving the technical implementation, optimization, and changes for improving our SEO. Our website is JS-powered, built using Storyblok and Next.js. A strong knowledge of JavaScript SEO and Structured Data Markup is a must.
- SEO hygiene: Ensure we keep our site groomed and free of technical issues on an ongoing basis. Work closely with the marketing engineering team to ensure that any issues found are taken care of. You will also regularly conduct content audits to find opportunities on improving and updating older content.
- Operational SEO: You must be extremely well aligned with the Content, Marketing Engineering, and Product Marketing teams, to ensure that all pages are well optimized and implemented, and work with the Marketing Communications team to develop a strategic linkbuilding initiative.
- Content Planning: You will closely work with the wider Marketing team to contribute to the content roadmap by defining content priorities in the upcoming months, as well as providing detailed briefs for the content team to execute on.
- Analytics and Reporting: You will take ownership of monitoring and analyzing our performance across major search channels to improve rankings. You will create and ship reports to inform the company about SEO performance, and put together ad-hoc reports for various situations.

**What you need to succeed**:

- You are a strong SEO manager with a preference for working independently and taking ownership.
- You have a deep knowledge of technical SEO, structured content, sitemaps, JS-powered websites, long-term SEO strategies, and ideally, SEO with a Headless CMS.
- You have 2+ years of experience working in a similar role, preferably at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, preferably with a multi-lingual website.
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail with a data-informed mentality and willing to take risks.
- An expertise with common stacks including Google Marketing Platform (Analytics, Search Console, and Tag Manager specifically), aHrefs, and SEMRush.
- The ability to learn quickly and keep up to date with the latest changes in the industry.
- Exceptional communication skills and fluency in English.

**Nice to have**:

- Prior experience working with Headless CMS Technologies.
- Experience in HTML, and/or JavaScript, and/or Python.
- Strong understanding of the impact SEM/PPC has on SEO.
- Experience working in a remote environment, with multiple colleagues spread across various locations and timezones.
- Based within +/- 3h from CET
