**Your role**:
Surface Solutions is planned to become a standalone business under GNMI ownership. In this context, a fully-fledged, dedicated Finance function for Surface Solutions needs to be build-up. The Head of Tax is critical for developing and implementing a comprehensive global tax strategy, including a robust transfer pricing concept, and ensuring tax compliance for over 15 legal entities in more than 10 countries.
**Who you are**:
- Master’s degree in taxation, finance & accounting, or a related field plus additional relevant professional certification (e.g., Chartered Tax Advisor) preferred.
- Proven broad experience (15+years) in tax roles comprising global tax strategy development, direct tax compliance, and transfer price management, ideally also within a mid-sized international company.
- Strong technical skills related to international tax laws and regulations, with a focus on direct tax matters and related systems
- Agile mind set, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, focusing on enabling business while ensuring tax compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
