**Your Role**
- As Head of Group Logistics (M/F/d) you are responsible group-wide and regional assurance of optimal logístical structures for the road, air and sea modes of transport and warehousing
- Together with global EHS team, ensure all relevant safety standards are implemented at all Warehouses through regular SHE audits with all gaps closed
- Taking into account Döhler's overall strategy, you reorganize independently a group-wide logistics strategy
- With your team you coordinate logistics service providers and ensure optimal freight and transport costs, taking quality specifications and customer satisfaction into account
- You ensure continuous improvement and implementing as well as monitoring KPI's related to global Logistics
- You are responsible for the entire logistics area, in particular for contracts, guidelines and standards as well as monitoring, controlling and steering freight as well as warehouse cost performance
- In your global position you advise and support our worldwide locations in development and efficient use of the necessary logistics resources
- You ensure that the Service Level as well as cost targets are delivered and push formalizing and structuring service levels for our customers and plants
- In close collaboration with other departments and stakeholders, you put in place and coordinate on cost reduction opportunities while managing the strategic as well as operational relationships with our external providers and partners
- With your team you define and lead deployment of global initiatives, e.g. transportation management and track & trace

**Your Profile**
- 10 -12 years of relevant professional experience in all areas of logistics -road transport, warehousing & international freight, with a special focus on tank transport, flexitanks and international freight - ocean and air shipments
- You have experience in making make-or-buy decisions
- You have successfully implemented a logistics solutions within a multinational environment, taking into account the associated changes and cultural aspects
- You are distinguished by your outstanding negotiation skills at all management levels
- You are known for your high degree of initiative and your team spirit
- Analytical thinking skills as well as a goal-oriented and future-oriented way of thinking complete your profile
- Very good knowledge of SAP S4 Hana, SAP R/3 and MS Office
- Knowledge of transport management SAP TM or Oracle is an advantage
- Your working language is English, German skills are an advantage
