**Duties**:

- Serves as the Supervisor of the IT Branch, supervising a team of specialists performing Systems Administration and the delivery of Information Technology.
- Formulates and publishes technical guidance and standard operating procedures for IT specialists; and ensures that supplies, equipment and other materials are available.
- Implements systems security plans, policies and preventive maintenance schedules. Performs assignments using standard principles, theories, concepts and methods for systems administration and systems engineering.

- Provides ongoing optimization and problem-solving support to minimize interruptions in customers' ability to carry out critical business activities.

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid USAREUR Certification of license.
- Must possess a valid US Driver's License.
- Must possess one of the following DoD Approved 8570 Baseline certifications for IAT Level II (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP,CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.) at the time of applying.

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management.**OR**

One year specialized system installation and programming experience sufficient to demonstrate knowledge and skill in:

- IT theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods;
- IT policy and planning concepts and practices;
- Interrelationships of multiple IT disciplines;
- Methods, approaches, and practices for managing communities of interest involved in development and implementation of IT architectures, investment planning, e-government, and other IT related legislative and policy initiatives.

- Best Qualified Criteria:
- Possess three (3) years' experience with creating active directory and user accounts including computer imaging, deployment of software and deployment and baseline of all IT hardware.
- Possess **one** of the following DoD Approved 8570 Baseline certifications for IAT Level II (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP,CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.)

**Document must be uploaded at the time of applying**.- Possess three (3) years' experience working with and configuring networks for VLANS, routers, switches, wireless access points and similar hardware and software.
- Possess at least one year of experience in a supervisory/managerial position recruiting, training, supervising/leading employees and the ability to assign and review work.
