**Duties**:

- Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and evaluation derived from ISR assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths. Identifies the requirement and delivers a fused intelligence product to national and theater consumers. Uses independent judgment to seek new techniques and technologies associated with intelligence processing concepts.
- Conducts complex research, evaluation, collection, dissemination and fusion of multi-source information from one or more intelligence disciplines to satisfy a broad range of customer requirements. Evaluates classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths and weaknesses. Performs detailed collection research of complex data sets to uncover intelligence gaps and then creates corresponding collection requirements to more completely understand the adversary. Understands the advance principles, concepts, and procedures of intelligence collection, dissemination, integration, and fusion capabilities to synthesize large data sets to make recommendations to senior specialists and staff.
- Plans and directs ISR operations. Plans, directs and integrates functions to provide ISR intelligence and situational awareness necessary to successfully plan and conduct operations in support of combatant commanders and other customers within the assigned areas of responsibility. Collection of and reporting on complex intelligence data enables strategic, operational, and tactical users to better understand the operational environment systemically, spatially, and temporally, allowing to orient themselves to the current and predicted situation to enable decisive action. Evaluates and reports data to advise planners and operators of options to accomplish objectives on a broad range of disciplines to include, but not limited to GEOINT, SIGINT, MASINT and HUMINT and functions such as: Cyber, Information Assurance, Electronic Warfare, Net-Warfare, Influence Operations, Special Technical Operations, Special Access Programs, Operations Security and Special Operations.
- Serves as a functional authority on ISR issues. Makes recommendations and defends decisions on operational policy matters to the Director and AF ISR Agency staff, and is often required to make recommendations on committing large expenditures of Agency funds or resources impacting future capabilities and programs. Represents the Agency in meetings with planners from other MAJCOMs, Air Staff, DoD, National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and other national agencies. Positions taken are viewed as authoritative on all affected Agency activities within the individual's area of expertise.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards. Explains performance expectations to employees and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses. Holds employees responsible for satisfactory completion of work assignments. Appraises subordinate workers performance ensuring consistency and equity in rating techniques. Recommends awards when appropriate and approves within grade increases. Hears and resolves employee complaints and refers serious unresolved complaints to higher level management. Initiates action to correct performance or conduct problems.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.

- Employee must maintain current certifications

- Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is desirable.
- Position may be eligible for DCIPS STEM TLMS.
