**Duties**: - Serves as a counterintelligence analyst on complex technical TP analysis and production activities. Information analyzed and produced generally requires the use of independent judgment and experience to develop new methods, approaches, and procedures. Performs analysis or leads teams/projects in intelligence production to support component, combatant command, and support agency planning and operations. - Presents OSI capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers. Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and analysis derived from OSI assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by exploiting adversary weaknesses and countering adversary strengths. - Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Performs analysis and leads projects in support of OSI activities with focused analysis in order to evaluate the significance of the information collected, extract and further disseminate relevant information, identify operational opportunities and leads, provide guidance to the case agent, and coordinate actions within the intelligence and law enforcement communities. - Manages intelligence production, participates in the direction, coordination, review and evaluation of counterintelligence TP activities within OSI, and coordinates those activities with DoD and national-level agencies. Manages intelligence production to satisfy customer requirements. Applies independent judgment in balancing the operational need for accuracy and expediency in satisfying production objectives. - Provides recommendations to functional authority on counterintelligence issues for Agency leadership. Serves as an expert for an intelligence function, process, program, or system. Makes recommendations and defends to the Commander and OSI staff, decisions on operational policy matters; often required to make recommendations on committing OSI resources impacting future capabilities. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: - U.S. Citizenship Required - All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period. - Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide - Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays - Shift work and emergency overtime may be required - Employee must maintain current certifications - Disclosure of Political Appointments - Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit - Advance in hire may be authorized if there is demonstrable proof provided on your resume - Mobility: Mobility is a condition of employment. The employee must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement. - Overtime may be required as workload demands and in some cases with no-notice due to urgency of timesensitive matters. Periodic shift work may be required if assigned as a watch-standing analyst. - Travel by regularly scheduled commercial or military conveyance in accordance with Joint Travel regulations may be required in performance of temporary duty. - The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required for the position. - An advanced scientific (i.e. engineering) or acquisition degree in is highly desired. - The incumbent must undergo an internal background investigation by AFOSI and must be approved for duty by the Commander of AFOSI or the Commander's designated representative(s). **Qualifications**: **This is a GG-13 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.** In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions **EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: Extensive knowledge of TP mission areas (RDA, SCRM, DCI, CPI and CFIUS). Extensive knowledge of the concepts governing the DoD counterintelligence mission and FIE/adversary collections, operations, investigations, and analysis.
